Culture is back with a bang and we are delighted to announce that we will be presenting as one of NINE new festivals to take place in the city thanks to the latest #LiverpoolWithoutWalls Funding including our very own Beyond the Fringe .

Beyond the Fringe 2021 is a FREE to the public family friendly, three day street theatre event, centred around the home of Liverpool’s 18th Century performance routes, Williamson Square…transforming the streets in to a playground for artists, producing high quality shows for the people of Liverpool!

 

Lucy Carew, one of the lead organisers, behind the festival says,
We’ve had brilliant support and funding from the City, Culture, LJMU’s head of drama Nick Philips, the brilliant Bluecoat Chamber, the Playhouse and a special mention to the Liverpool BID team, Artists Melvyn Altwarg, Mat Boden and the team from Shiverpool, who’ve been brill right from the beginning and got behind us!

 

We’re working with local national and international artists to make year one happen…and to develop, what we hope we will grow year on year in to a great event for the City and the communities of Liverpool!

Internationally acclaimed MEN IN COATS will perform daily in Williamson Square main stage at approx 2pm and 5pm on all three day –

This year we can promise you, genius jugglers, mesmerising magicians, wheel wizards mellifluous musicians and much much more besides… So, get yourself down to Williamson Square, Clayton Sq and surrounding streets, 22nd, 23rd and 24th Oct between 12-6PM- Something Special will be going on! See you there!

So put the dates in the calendar, 22, 23rd and 24th of October…that’s between 12-6pm
