Following the howling success of their first-ever Be-Spooky Tour, which saw participants, wagging tails, and plenty of best-dressed winners, Hector’s Greyhound Rescue and Shiverpool, Liverpool’s original award-winning theatrical ghost tour, are thrilled to announce a second charity dog walk with a ghostly twist!
On Friday 11th October 2024 at 4.30pm, set your spirit free as we begin at Liverpool’s Catholic Metropolitan Cathedral and journey through the city’s most atmospheric streets and shadowy corners. Together, we’ll explore horrific histories, secret cemeteries and so much more…
The Shiverpool Experience
Led by Shiverpool’s professional and theatrical storytellers, this is no ordinary ghost tour. Putting the extra in extraordinary, you’ll be transported to another era as you retrace the phantom footsteps of creepy characters who left their mark on Liverpool’s cobblestones. From the bustling waterfront to alleyways heavy with shadows, every corner hides a story waiting to be told.
And this time, our four-legged friends are welcome! Shiverpool doesn’t usually allow dogs (except guide dogs), but this unique Be-Spooky performance has been specially adapted. Beware though — even dogs can sense what lies beyond…
Spooktacular Extras

About Hector’s Greyhound Rescue
Hector’s Greyhound Rescue (Charity No. 1202146) is a small, volunteer-run charity operating across Shropshire, Aberystwyth, and Southport. Currently caring for around 40 greyhounds, the team rescues dogs from the racing industry, strays, and those abandoned or surrendered by owners.
With the rising cost of living and increasing expense of dog ownership, greyhounds are taking longer to rehome. Fundraising events like this Be-Spooky Ghost Walk & Talk are vital to cover running costs and ensure every hound finds a loving forever home.
