A National Lottery Community Fund Project

The Shiverpool Map, A Springboard for Stories, Conversations & Explorations during Lockdown…

Funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund, has helped us to deliver our unique twist on storytelling and street theatre.

We are delighted to announce that from behind the scenes we took part in delivering a successful Award from The National Lottery Community Fund, for a project of stories and storytelling, history and heritage for all…

We are thrilled to have taken part in delivering our educational storytelling Maps and Activity workshop packs as part of the NLCF Award to 500 school children to help with Fine Art studies, English Language & History lessons from Home in collaboration with school teachers across Liverpool.

We also worked with the dedicated team at Liverpool Cares to organise a Special Story Tour event via Zoom with our elders and neighbours in the community. Everyone will have their Illustrated Shiverpool Ghost Map posted out to them and joined by the Shiverpool guides online (as a ghostly footed audience) weaving ephemerally through the city’s architecture, hidden histories and secret gardens with tales, questions and conversations…. A delightful evening that will certainly whet the appetite for a more immersive experiential tour later on in the Summer as we open up .
